Baseball Spirit

In late spring 1974, the qualifying rounds for the summer Koshien tournament were about to begin -- Yu Sakuragi, an ace student at Musashi Junior High School with excellent control, joined the baseball team of Tosei High School, which he enrolled in because he hated picking up balls and doing other chores. He spends his days making fun of things. The captain, Odagiri, still believes in Sakuragi's ability and calms down his dissatisfied teammates and allows him to join the club, but...
