Kodama is a new staff at Hanasuou Real Estate and she has a special ability that allows her to see ghosts.

She has been teamed up with Makabe, a senior colleague, and put in charge of selling a certain "stigmatised property". Stigmatised properties are those with a dark history, usually those where either death or crime has occurred.

As for the stigmatised property that Kodama and Makabe are currently in charge of, it seems that its previous "owner" is still living there but as a haunting spirit instead.
