Chihayafuru: Middle School Arc

When they were in elementary school, Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata were united by the strong bond of competitive karuta. Arata goes to a junior high school in Fukui, and Taichi goes to a prestigious school where he has to study hard. Even though they are separated, Chihaya continues to play karuta by herself. However, Taichi declares that he will quit playing karuta... In this spin-off adaptation, newcomer Tooda Oto captures the delicate and turbulent lives of Chihaya and her friends in middle school!
