Dr. Koto's Clinic

Gotou Kensuke (a.k.a. Dr. Koto), a brilliant surgeon who had been working at a famous university hospital in Tokyo, took responsibility for a medical error and came to the remote island of Koshiki, which had been without a doctor for three months. The clinic there lacked medical facilities and was unable to provide full-scale treatment or surgery, and could only send patients to a hospital on the mainland, a six-hour boat ride away. Then a village boy came down with acute appendicitis!
