Surrendering to My Enemy's Cold Embrace

In a world populated by beastmen, the down-and-out actress, Shen Youqing, happens to be a chinchilla-girl. During an audition, she was nearly sexually assaulted by the assistant director. But she's saved in the nick of time by someone she hadn’t seen in years: Shi Ruolin, who was her first love, arranged marriage partner, fiancée, and mortal enemy. Shen Youqing was looking for a chance to escape, not even bothering to thank her savior, but Shi Ruolin makes her an unexpected offer. Facing dire straits, Shen Youqing gives in to temptation and agrees to endure the humiliation of becoming the pet of the cold-blooded snake, in exchange for a large sum of money. As they spend more time together, they manage to resolve their long-standing misunderstandings, and their mutual feelings grow until they finally agree to spend the rest of their lives together.
