Spellcross

The land of Elegy revolves around the dungeons. Adventurers brave these dimensional intrusions for treasure, backed by the guilds of crafters and merchants that support them. For Caldwell, who has always dreamed of joining the Tower and facing the threat himself, his fate lies somewhere between. Clumsy with a weapon and unable to cast magic, he turns to the powers of item creation through alchemy to give him a chance in battle. In the process he meets a colorful cast of misfits, criminals, vigilantes, and heroes, and uncovers mysteries key to the very fabric of the world.
