The Chronicles of the Demon Realm Academy: Half & Half

Hanayashiki Ippei was a pragmatic 13-year-old who longed for "an ordinary, peaceful, and stable life as a normal person." But one day, something extraordinary suddenly befell him. On his 14th birthday, he learns "it."

In fact, Ichihei's father, Ryuhei , was a resident of a different world called " Demon Realm ," separate from Japan ( the human world) where Ichihei and his family lived. He was a descendant of a family called the Inner Dragons , who harbored dragons resembling ectoplasm within their bodies .

Generally, the human-dragon race reaches adulthood at the age of 14 when their abilities manifest. Ichihei is half-forced by his father to transfer to St. Twins Academy , a school attended by the children of demons, because "he's already an adult." There, Ichihei finds himself in a chaotic daily life filled with hilarious situations as he interacts with a diverse group of monstrous and surreal classmates who don't understand the common sense of the human world.
