Queen Double Thirteen

In 2644, Ray Sawamura loses his parents in an accident and drops out of the Galactic Aerospace Academy to earn money for his sickly younger sister's medical treatment, boarding the legendary free trade ship Queen 1313.
The Queen 1313's crew are all highly skilled but also a bunch of outlaws. Ray is moved by their determination to uphold their human dignity while carrying out dangerous missions such as smuggling.
Between ESP-possessed comrades and a battleship computer composed of the collective consciousness of its subordinates, this is a groundbreaking masterpiece of science fiction romance!
