Hero, Hitorijime Shite mo Ii desu ka?

Original Manga

Yoshino is exhausted. As a single mother and magazine editor, she's constantly juggling deadlines, childcare, and household responsibilities. Her home life is on the verge of collapsing from sheer overwork. Then she meets Aoi. Aoi is not an ordinary housekeeper—he is one of the country's most popular actors, temporarily taking a break from the entertainment industry. To protect his secret, he asks Yoshino to hire him exclusively. Soon, the actor she once admired on screen is cooking meals, cleaning her apartment, helping with her child, and becoming part of her everyday life. What starts as a practical arrangement slowly evolves into a heartwarming romance as both characters find comfort, support, and affection in one another. The story focuses on adult relationships, work-life struggles, parenting, and the fantasy of having an ideal partner appear exactly when life becomes overwhelming.
