The protagonist is a writer, Kakuma Akira, who is engaged to the beautiful Kaneda Miharu and is doing extremely well.
One day, while dining at one of the best restaurants in Tokyo, he can't stop thinking about the words of the genius scientist, Kaido "No meat dish can compare to the deliciousness of that meat." Kakuma visits Kaido's private residence to find out the true nature of "that meat..."
