Musunde, Hotsurete, Karamatte

The story is set in a run-down rural town. Akuta, a struggling manga artist in Tokyo, hears from his childhood friend Ito for the first time in ten years. What he learns is that Ito’s grandfather, who had looked after him since childhood, died three years ago. Suspicious, Akuta returns to his hometown, where he finds Ito running up to him as innocently as ever. As the two spend time together, Akuta remembers the romantic feelings and sadistic impulses he once harbored toward Ito during their school days. Wanting to forget that childish and dangerous first love, Akuta tries to leave, but Ito seems to see right through him and holds him back, deliberately provoking him...? “Let’s escape reality one more time.” There is no escaping this love. An obsessive love between twisted men.
