Gwaneum

A passionate night spent with the Emperor, whose face remained hidden in the darkness. But it was not the Emperor who had taken the Empress’s body. It was none other than the Emperor’s younger brother, Jo-Un.

“Will your head roll, or will you copulate with my brother right before my eyes?”

The Emperor pressed Empress Su-Ah to make a choice. But it was not a choice; it was coercion. On the day of their next conjugal night, Su-Ah whispered to the Emperor’s younger brother, unnoticed by the Emperor who was peering from behind a screen.

“Please spare my life.”

It was a low, delicate voice, barely audible, but it was enough to make Zhao Yun’s entire body freeze.
