Yodaka wa Utawanai

Yasuyoshi and Shou are childhood friends who grew up in a village nestled in the mountains. After drifting apart around the time they entered high school, they reunite for the first time in three years following a certain "incident". Although the old Shou's strong personality has mellowed out a bit, his awkward kindness remains the same, and Yasuyoshi gradually finds himself drawn to him. Yet with an investigation shedding further light on the details of the incident, he begins to harbor doubts toward Shou...

Can you trust someone because you "like" them? Or is it precisely because you "like" them that you can't trust them?
