"Shokuyou" are phantom creatures whose bodily fluids turn into sweet nectar that humans can consume. Although believed to be extinct in modern times, they have been living secretly among humans. Haru, who looks exactly like a human, is one of them. When his classmate Shigure recognizes him as a shokuyou, he is “eaten” by Shigure, partly by force. However, he soon realizes that Shigure is not just playing with him, and what should have felt wrong is starting to feel good. Can a shokuyou and a human, caught in the complex relationship between food and predator, navigate a normal love life? As Haru grapples with these unanswerable questions, a group of mysterious transfer students claiming to be "Shokuyo" themselves appears...?
