Gokuraku Ni Wa Mada Hayai

A tale of Yukinari, a beheading executioner known as a ‘manslayer,’ and the people around him in the town of Yaokyacho. In the Edo period (1603-1868), where the story takes place, most people who committed crimes were executed. One day, Saichiro, the son of a town doctor, is present when Yukinari slays a criminal. Later, Saichiro sees Yukinari ignoring his family members who are begging for the life of a criminal. He turns to Yukinari, who looks as if he doesn't care about people, and asks him if he doesn't even listen to him. Saichiro is dissatisfied with the answer, but then something happens. The story of a man who lives and dies by killing people unfolds.
